Yes. 350 is 350. Long block usually means comes with heads, maybe intake. Short block usually means no heads. You'll have to talk to seller to determine exactly what parts he is selling, as everyone says different things.

Thanks dude... i was talking to him and he told me it was a 350 long block used in a Pontiac GTO but i will ask him more about it... thanks for your answer...

Uh, a GTO 350 is either a old Pontiac engine (although I'm not sure they put Pontiac 350's in GTO's), or an LS1.
Unless an older GTO had a 350 small block Chevy swapped into it.
Make sure you know what you're getting. Post a pic here if possible.

Yes the GTO get the 350 in a swap for the stock engine... i will ask for pics and i ll post some tomorrow

I can't really comprehend the message above however, check the valve cover to valve cover width and on which side the starter is located

What year is the GTO it could be a 350 big block or an ls1 like five7kid said ...that will not fit right in..gonna have to make some changes if its a chevy 350 or an ls1..then yes it will drop right in except the ls1..again some changes will have to be made
