plastic stop on throttle/tv cables, relocate?
Is there any way to move the plastic stop that goes into the cable bracket, or is it possible to get some sort of aftermarket stop to put on the cable where I need it to be? My cable length is fine, but the stops on the cables are not where I need them to be, and I don't have a welder so I can't fabricate a bracket.
Someone else who used the same intake as me said he used the cable from a 3.4 4th gen, except I haven't been able to find a single place that sells them, worse case scenario I'll just pay the shop to do it, but would really prefer to work it out myself.

Lokar (among others like Edelrock, Holley, Mr. Gasket, etc.) sell cable stops that attach to the cable and are held with a small set screw.
This all might be fine for your throttle cable, BUT be very very careful with the TV cable - it's very very critical that it is correct, otherwise you can burn up the tranny in as few as 2-3 blocks of driving.

Thanks, I knew there had to be something like that available, a helluva lot easier and cheaper than a custom fabricated bracket, only reason I wasn't able to use stock is the cable stop on the throttle line is too far back, haven't actually messed with the TV yet, so idk how that one looks, taking it one thing at a time, and throttle is simpler.

I have the 3.4 bracket, my problem is that the cables on my car have the stops too far back to use the 3.4 bracket and intake, the 2.8 had the bracket back further. Pilsbry is running the 3.4 plenum as well, and he says he just used the cables from his donor car, but I couldn't find throttle cable or detent cable for a 3.4 camaro ANYWHERE, not summit, not hawks, not youngsfbody, not autozone, not advancedauto, not napa...
But one of these cable stops should work just fine, probably gonna pick a pair up today.

didn't check with them, but stops are a cheaper and easier solution, so I will just go that route.
