Okso I'm thinking about buying a 85 z28 clone it was an rs 6 cyl and it is now 350 carbed and t5 the guy says it was all done before he got the car and he's lost intrest in it now I test drove it and when I hit the gas it feels a bit sluggish now could the be transmission or engine or both :/ all I know is it ran really Rich and he has a 4 bbl carb and only coming out of two bbl it was also stalling every time we stoped in till I got to his house and I took the air filter off the it didn't stall for some reason is it worth 1800 and wht could the sluggish be ..... Please help

 

Not rain on your parade,but your the third owner of this car since it was cloned and you don't have the P/O'er who did the work to talk to.Might be something easy,but the variables are kind of endless.The price seems kind of high too.If you could buy in cheaper,that would give you more room to work with.I have a gut feeling the guy trying to sell it paid too much and is trying to get back the mistake he made.
