Oil pan trouble

I did a test fit the other day with the engine on the hoist.69' Gen 1 sbc going into my '85 Z28.The problem is I bought a pan off ebay and it is a little too deep, when I did the test fit it wouldn't clear the k-member.It's a finned aluminum pan so I can't pursued it in.

Now for my question.
I need a stock replacement pan for my engine.1969 350 5.7,two piece rear with drivers side dipstick.I'm hesitant on buying one only to put it on and hit the k-member again.Anyone know one that will for sure fit on my block and not hit?
Any help would be awesome

Re: Oil pan trouble

Get a pan that fits a '71-'78 Camaro 350.

Re: Oil pan trouble

I bought this pan for my build:

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-G3531/

I haven't gotten it all together/installed yet so I am hoping for the best. Though it is a standard oil pan that looks exactly like the 71 camaro pan so I don't think there will be any problems.
