Re: 305 to 350 info
You are taking out one SBC and replacing it with another.
Everything that fits on your old engine will fit on the new one ( assuming you don't buy some real early engine that doesn't have all the holes in the heads drilled and threaded.)
You need a flywheel to suit your new engine , the one you have now may not fit
More importantly ,you don't mention what intake you plan to use????

Sorry, preferably a performer eps or rpm. And if I went with any new-ish motor, I could see that, but what if I used a 67-69 Camaro 327 or 350? Those are more abundant here and complete, low-ish (100,000-150,000) miles, for about 300$

Re: 305 to 350 info
As noted ,
most early heads don't have the holes tapped for mounting the accessory brackets used on later engines like yours.
Can be drilled and tapped but extra cost over buying engine with correct holes
Later model engine is better base to build on.
Roller cam ,1 pce pan gasket, etc
96+ Vortec truck engines are common , cheapish and have great heads.
Vortec heads are better than race heads you would find on any '60's engine ; let alone a stock engine like you are looking at
