L98 vette
I am able to get a 350 TPI out of a TA for 150, needs new crank bearings, for $150, no wiring or anything. I am also able to get an L98 out of a vette with all wiring and accesories, it has a 6 speed manual trans for about 200. has aluminum heads i believe. would the computer work with a 700r4. and also what do i need to change on the vette motor to put it in my car. stock TA with a 305 TPI. thanks

Ok, thanks! I noticed the vette doesn't have a smog pump. So what do I do about that? What about the oil pan? I have read that it doesn't fit, true or not? thanks

Re: L98 vette
Vette pan is shallower and the sump on the pan is longer because the engine sits behind the front suspension , not over it like most cars.
Must use oil pickup to suit the pan being used; don't interchange
Recall F-Body pan more like the ZZ4 one shown on left.Vette pan on right

No, the Vette pan will NOT fit. You need to change it. The good news is your 305 pan will fit the Vette engine. Change the oil pump while you're at it.
I had a ZZ4 pan in my 3rd gen, so I can attest to it fitting as well.
