Engine swap
I have a 85 trans am with the 305 4bbl, Im looking to do engine swap with a stroker engine my first choice is a 454 storker and my second choice is 400 storker I no a 400 would fit but would a 454 fit. I would Appreciate information before I decide on a block.

the 454 will fit u just have to have the right oil pan

The "typical" 454 is a big block. However, you can make a 454 small block.
Either will "fit". For the big block info, check the sticky in the top section of this forum about BBC swaps.
