Cam selection with vortec heads help

The 355 I swapped in is pretty decent right now( compared to the 140 hp 305 I had in) , dynoed it at my school at around 270 ish hp.

I'm eager to swap the heads and cam. Would like to get the engine producing over at least 310 hp

Any advice on the lift and duration of the cam with vortec heads, that would be suitable for only street use?

I will be upgrading the springs and rocker arms to match the cam, for the record.

Thanks

You are aware of the .480" lift limitation on stock Vortec heads?
Machining of head or beehive springs required for greater lift
