4G plastic tank question

I just bought the ls1 has tank out of a 2002 SS camaro to install in my 1990 iroc z. My question can I use my gas tank straps or need the ones that came off the 02 camaro?

End up picking up a 97 Pontiac Grand Prix sending unit for $19 on eBay new. Going to test it out and hopefully it reads 90ohms
