If it's a BLOCK, it's not any of those things.
But according to the code, it WAS:

Pretty much a small-journal, not worth much boat anchor.

If it's a BLOCK,
I will GLADLY ban myself from any further posts from you, if you so choose. Your loss. I really only prefer to talk to people who want to LEARN THE TRUTH, anyway.
Re: is it a 327/350 or 302
I'm vague? I told you what I had and the info for it. All you told me is to go to the first site you found on google and said my engine is a pos didn't help only when I insulted you did you put words together in sentence's that sounded like knowledge

That site has been around longer than Google has, even if you have not.
Your "engine", if that is indeed what is it and NOT what you SAID it was which was A BLOCK, is apparently a very common ordinary 1967 truck motor; and a 327 at that. Nothing special, valuable, worth much, and especially not particularly worth spending money on if the object is to COMPETE WITH anything not rules-restricted, as I found out while build my last couple of 327s back in the mid 70s (and getting my butt whupped by the relatively newly available 350s).
I realize you're kinda new here, this being your 5th post and all; so I'm cutting you some slack. Just telling the truth, not making anything up or whatever. I'm not sure what you expected to find out by posting that here, but you'll find that just having people worship whatever old thing you've got just because ... you've got it .... (??? I guess that's why you seem offended that I'm not woshipping? Iunno, just a guess) isn't really what this site is all about.
Plainly you don't recognize knowledge when you see it, so that's fine too. It's not my car that will be the one going slow because of it.

Have a lovely day. It's been a pleasure making your acquaintance. Good luck with that.

There's a disconnect somewhere. According to https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/engi...g-numbers.html , that casting number would be:
3914678....302.....68....2...Z-28 Camaro
3914678....327.....68....2
3914678....350.....68....2
Wouldn't be the first time that list was incorrect, but I wouldn't tend to believe it for this number. That would be a large journal engine. Casting numbers can be mistaken (looks like a 3 or 6 when it's an 8, 1 when it's a 7, for instance), but there isn't anything close with those choices. All Google hits on the casting # said it was a '68 (except for an eBay listing, which used the date code to say it was a '67 - still a '68 model year block). I'd guess the VIN was misread (the stampings can be faint). Or, the listing is in error for that suffix.
But, doesn't really matter. Pull the pan, either get the crank casting # (which is what will tell you what it really is), Google that; or pull a bearing cap and measure the journal size.

If it were to in fact turn out to be of some "value", such as a "numbers matching" setup for something, find somebody who wants a "numbers matching" setup for that, and sell it to em. Don't tear it down. Leave it alone and as unmolested as possible.
If it turns out to be a 67 truck motor like the stamping code would indicate, get rid of it; it's not really any good for anything.
If it's a 4" block but has any less stroke than that, and is large journal, but isn't a "numbers matching" setup for anything "desirable", then it's basically just a 350 block same as any other older 350 block. Build a 350 out of it.
Don't worship it.

Re: is it a 327/350 or 302
If you get a free 327, and just want to end up with something better to drive than a 305, and more responsive to mods than a 305, there's nothing wrong with a 327. It probably needs a re-ring job, at which point it's better to score a good used '87-up 350. Sell the 327 to a restorer and the 350 is a free upgrade. Heads: If the heads are 64 cc and 1.72" / 1.50" valves, then sell them to a restorer, and at least get some 416s. At this point you're still not out any money. Even if the 327 and the 350 both get built to 300 peak HP, the 350 will have more average HP. The 327 might do 1 MPG better on the interstate, but no guarantees.
