305 to 350 issues

Hi guys hope you help me... i have a 92 305 tbi and i want to swap it to 350..

as you know, the 1st gen of 350 divides in two types, the first one till 86 with 2 piece main seal and the second one with 1 piece main seal since 87..

I want to buy an aftermarket top end kit but the best ones and more complete ones are made for the 67-86 350´s and i want to use a block from 87 and up..

my question is.... can i buy this new block and put heads, intake manifold, camshaft, pushrods, valve covers, rockers, i mean:

87-00 block with 67-86 (everything else not counting obviulsy the crankshaft)??????

and then, to use a 4160 holley carb with my 700r4 trans, i just need two different brackets for the acelerator an TV cables??

thanks for your help. im exited about start swaping but i dont want to buy things i wont be able to use!

Oh thanks. And thanks god for your website it was very helpfull in all thing ive done to my car...

And what about the external accesories? can I use my 305 alternator, water pump, chest, steering pump, compressor and all pulleys? And what about the armonic balancer? this one wont work does it?

all your accespories should swap over if your heads have the same bolt holes which most if not all do.

yes i tough the same.. Im thinking on the 60999 Edelbrock heads, do you think it has the holes for the alternator and compressor mountings?

well the guys from summitracing chat told me all heads has the same accesory bolt holes from 69-95... so, i think will work, but i wanted your opinion anyway!
