305 carbed to 350 TPI
Alright its late im searching around and just cant seem to find what it is im looking for.. :/
I own a 86 Z28 LG4 and im wanting to swap it to a 350 tpi. Okay so i know i need the tpi system, ecm, harness and not sure what else after that.
Another thing is how would i run the harness and where would i place the ecm? any awesome links on a how to or just good old advice would help me out here.
Thank you for yall's time!

You will have better luck posting in the tpi forum. You can run the tpi harness through the right side kick panel access hole and mount the ecm under the passenger side under the dash in the stock ecm holder. Depending on what year harness you have you may need to make changes to c100 and c207. there is alot of information in the stickies.

TPI is just an intake system, as far as bolting it to a motor is concerned. It bolts up to any SBC. You could stick it on a 350 just as easily as on a 265, 400, 307, etc.
Since you have the LG4 now (not LQ4... that's a 6.0L truck motor from around 2000 up), it's computer-controlled, just like TPI is. The ECM for TPI mounts in the same place as your existing one, and the harness will follow the same routing. After all, these cars WERE mass-produced, meaning that it had to be EASY to make one TPI, the next a LG4, the next a 6-cyl, etc., as they rolled down the production line. All the parts for all of those are interchangeable at some level.

You also need a high pressure fuel pump like a acdelco ep-241,and a return line to the gas tank. If you have a ecm already you can post the letters off the chip for identification but if you get one from a 89 f-body it would have vats.
