Re: Recommendations on camshaft
depends on the car.. depends on the heads.. depends on the exhaust... depends on what you want out of it...
Re: Recommendations on camshaft
As for the cam I want to buy the cam first but I want something with a lot of power I want it so that I can you know play with it every once in awhile on the weekends cruising but not exaggerated either I was looking on oreilly auto parts and I kind of had something like this in mind http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/de...t+-+peformance

Read and follow.Why??. Because that is the way it works and no one part like a cam makes a difference.

To answer the OP....my advise is to figure out what you want from the car in the end. If you want 400 hp it requires certain things...if you want 600hp it takes different things.
If you are willing to swap intake cam and heads, id pull the motor and have the bottom freshened up. Also...more head and power may require new pistons etc...then youll need a converter...gears...etc.
