95 350 block change for a 87 305
95 350 block change for a 87 305
OK, so I have an 87 iroc 305 and I want to go to a 350. Question, what from my 305 would I still be able to use on the 350 block? The 350 block is from a 95 camaro.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Were you actually planning a LT1 swap ?
A completely different scenario to just pulling out a 305 and replacing it with a reg GEN I 350 from a car or truck
A '95 Camaro engine is not a GEN I SBC like your 305.
It is a GEN II LTI , completely different , you need the LT1 heads ,intake , water pump ,dist , computer and lots of other parts to make it work
The block on it's own is next to worthless, your 305 starter and oil pan will fit
If you had a engine from a '95 truck however, then you could use all your 305 parts , intake , heads , dist, water pump ,exh, etc
