Pulling engine and tranny together?
I was wondering if I could pull the motor and tranny out of these cars as one unit. Its a 350/700r4 combo, and it looks like theres a chance itll fit. Thanks for the help.

Re: Pulling engine and tranny together?
it can be done - taking the distributor, crank pulley, and radiator out first make it much easier

Ok, thanks again. I know our equipment can pull the weight too, it lifted a 7.3 powerstroke.

Yup, like what's already been said, pull the distributor and carb, and put a cap in the end of your transmission so you don't bleed it all over the car as you pull it out, haha.

Yep, you can see the plastic bag on the end of tranny on all 3 of the pics I posted. Old slip yoke in end of trans, bag over that, and duct tape around bag and tailshaft.
