Axle/Gears: Moser Ford 9" 3.70
305 tbi how to pull.

I will be pulling my 305 tbi soon. Im wondering what all i need yo unhook/drain, and how to pull it out. Im sure i could figure it out myself, im just trying to make it easier. Thabk you.

Leave the engine harness on the engine. Unhook the computer and pull the bundle from behind teh fender and drape it over the intake. Same from the drivers side

Drain fluids, unhook the lines, remove DS/y-pipe, unbolt crossmemer/K-member, separate centerlink from pitman arm/idler, remove strut upper nuts. Lift car off engine/trans

I didnt have a tool to separate ball joints so the steering box/idler came out too

Where does the k member unbolt from

Bottom of the frame, 6 big bolts pointed strait up

Ok, i see a plug on passenger side plugged into something. Right in front of door. Is that the plug?

Its the pass through. On the inside, there should be a plastic C-clip and a few tabs holding the assembly in place. Push it out into the fenderwell and pull it up by the blower motor. Its tricky but can be done

How does The steering box come of the column? How do I do the tranny?

Leave the steering box alone. I took it out because i didnt have a pickle fork at the time

Undo the trans crossmember and DS. Trans will drop out with the engine
