How do you take these off? The motor is not in the engine compartment. Is there a way to get tho the back to hold a nut or something. When I turn the bolts they just spin and dont seem to come off. What am I doing wrong. I need to get these out so I can put the new ones in and finnish getting it ready for the new motor.

I'm pretty sure there is a nut right behind the control arm. Take a look underneath and you should see it. Its a bit of a pain to get to though.

Its kind of a pain, but, I found the easiest way for me was to use a swivel head socket wrench with a 15mm socket. When you're laying under the mount, you'll notice a hole were the control arm attaches that gives you access to the bottom nut, and a hole in the upper part of the crossmember to the back a little were you can stick the wrench in and get to the top 2 nuts. Its best done with the help of a friend. One of you gets under there and holds the nut with the socket wrench, and have the other undo the bolt from above with the weapon of choice. I put new motor mounts in my car Christmas morning by myself with no engine in the bay, and it took about an hour. Make sure you wear saftey glasses while laying under the car because you will get lots of dirt in your eyes from the wrench moving around in the cross member.

Place the nut in the socket. You might want to put a little vasaline with it to make it stick in there so it doesnt fall out. Getting the nut out of the crossmember if you drop it is a biotch!

Screw that, push the bolt up through the bottom; nut on top. You'll be there all damn day trying to thread that nut on there...
