My 582 BBC Build
Howdy folks,
Been a long time follower/lurker of thirdgen.org and finally have something I felt worthy of posting. It took 2 years but its finally on the road. My set up:
Motor
582 BBC (799 lbft at 4900 and 756 hp at 5900 *corrected hp*)
9.8 Dart Big M block
RHS 360 alum heads (bowl blend only)
Victor intake, 1" spacer
Holley 950 HP carb
Bullet Cam Dur @ 0.05 int 238/exh 250, Gross lift int .650/ exh .625 Separation 111
Ed Quay 2 1/8" primary 3.5" collector, true dual 3.5" full length exhaust.
Trans/Rear End
4l80E built by Jake's Performance, stage 3 with standard gearing
US shift controller
Coan 3500 stall, triple disk converter
Moser 9" with 3.70 gears
Just working out a few bugs but all the major assembly is complete. Got a lot of good info from the boards with help from the search feature of course.

Sounded like a pro stocker open header. Tamed it a little with some Borla XR-1s.
