Camaro 305 tbi to 350 tpi engine electrical problem (wont start)
Hi guys.
I have a camaro 91 that had a 305 tbi and now have a 350 tpi and 7730 ecm (vats is disconnected) with a firebird engine harness. Security light goes and and off after a few seconds. The problem i sthat it cranks but wont start. The fuel pump doesnt engage with the ignition and the check engine light wont go on either. I checked the power cable and ground to the ecm and it is there anyway. I have also tested the fuel pump directly to a battery and it works and well. What am i missing?
Thanks in advance

is it trying to fire? you double check firing order? make sure plug wires aren't crossed somewhere? timing 180 out?

did you trace those unconnected wires. from a quick glance at your pics, that disconnected connector looks to me like it might be to an individual fuse holder, ie the connector holds a blade type fuse and may be why you are not getting power to the injectors. i would ring out the connection and see where the orange wire goes to. look at the schematic and you should be able to quickly narrow it down
