You won't find specific instructions for what you are looking to do. What you are going to want to do, is study the wiring on these cars and also study the wiring for the engine and make the connections. Swapping in a 3.8 isn't any different than any other foreign engine swap. Assuming you have the wire harness for the 3.8, you'll have to integrate that into the 3rd gen wiring. Time to start reading and studying wiring diagrams.

Basically you're going to need to look for threads dealing with TTAs since they came with a turbo 3.8 just like the GNs did.

One thing you should do is obtain a shop manual for the car you are putting the motor into and a shop manual for the car that the motor came out of. You need the wiring diagrams. When I did my TPI swap, the shop manuals were invaluable. What you will find out is that the F-body third gen and G-body wiring associated with the ECM and motor are similar. You will need a gran national wiring harness. If I remember correctly, there should be a 12 pin connector that interfaces the ECM with the body wiring. The connectors are the same but some of the pin outs are different. That is where you will need the shop manuals. The swap you are doing is not new. Others have done it before.
Good Luck,
