Help choosing rocker arms
Decided I need to change the pushrods in the Vortec 350 swap I’m doing because they look pretty rough and figured I’d do the rockers and lifters while I’m at it. I want to stay with the 1.5:1 ratio but other than that I’m not sure what kind of rocker arms I need for them to install correctly. Also I wouldn’t mind some pushrod and lifter recommendations. I don’t want to cheap out to hard but i don’t want to break the bank on it either. Thanks in advance

Re: Help choosing rocker arms
If you're not going to change the ratio, there's really no point in changing the rocker arms.
The amount of power freed by roller rockers is negligible.
If you just HAVE to change the rockers, get some cheap Comp 1.6 rollers. I've been running those for 15+ years, no complaints.
Hell, you might be better off changing the valve springs and seals while the rockers are off. You wouldn't believe how much power you can lose with weak, old valve springs.
New stock Vortec/ LT1 valve springs are only about $1.50 each, last time I bought some. I use them on pretty much every stock-ish SBC head I build.
