Ls swap fuel pump & intake
Ls swap fuel pump & intake
Hello. I’m just about done with my 5.3 Ls1 swap into my 1987 Camaro RS and I have just a couple questions about products to buy that someone here might know. First fuel pump: im aware an ls1 needs a fuel pump putting out approximately 50GPH, should I buy a 4th gen z28 fuel pump from rock auto there only about 30 bucks. Or should I spend more and go with someone like racetronix ($200) would the 4th gen one even fit? Secondly: intake I unfortunately lost my stock style intake so I’m looking for a aftermarket cold air intake, and I just can’t find a good one that is actually boxed off so it picks up cold air. Almost wondering if I should replace the stock one but there not cheap, and I also heard they can limit air flow to larger engines. Thank for any ideas😁

get a genuine walbro 255 from summit racing. its about 110 bucks with install kit. A 01-07 silverado cai will fit in the thirdgen. you will need to modify the air box
