Just have the back of the intake machined for the distributor, make sure you have a 94' up intake, the rest should work fine. :lala:

I understood what he wanted to do BUT that would pretty much be a waste of time, all that he would gain is a little better set of heads and slightly better cam, he'd be better off doing heads/cam to his existing engine, the coolant passages shouldnt matter since there are none in the LT1 intake so they wouldnt affect the TPI manifold.

I woulkd keep the LT1 intake with the LT1 engine. If you'd like to keep the old computer just need to dump the optispark and slap a distributor in there. Of course the intake would need modified for the distributor but it will let you use the old wire harness and ECM.

if you think money wise, it can be a good thing , however if you're serious about making power, people should carry on the technology that belong to their engine.
Tpi are essentialy made for HO 305, on a mild 350 it would restric the airflow. If you can afford getting larger runner and get the intake manifold ported, why not pay someone to install the LT1 intake for you ?
I can say that right now I'm pretty caked, chill mood you know...chilaxing but seriously stick with the LT1, you'll like it pretty much.
