Flywheel Question
I have an 87 Iroc 305 carb(lg4) and i just bought 80-85 recon 350.What i need to know is can i use the fly wheel from my 87 305 or am i gonna have to get a new one.Do the fly wheels have the same teeth
Your going to need a 153 tooth flywheel for an 85 or older SBC. I got mine from a wrecking yard for $65 +$10 shipping.
Thats for a manual trans car, I don't know what size the flexplates are.

Why they would recommend a 168 is beyond me. It adds weight and doesn't add performance. Not much weight, but why break it if it ain't fixed? Er... :P
