Dual 1-Chamber Flowmaster Sound Clips

Alright guys, let me know if this works. I don't know whether or not I can link directly to files on my website, but I'm trying it. If it doesn't work, I'll just have to link to my homepage or something. I absolutely positively could not get the laptop to get a decent sound recording, so I just had to make two mpgs with a digital camera to capture the audio. The first file is from inside the car and the second is outside behind the car about 15 feet or so.

For a 305, that is great, especially the in car clip.

A clip of it driving by would be cool, and maybe some more revving at a time when people aren't gonna care about it.

Sorry for the confusion. No, not true duals, but dual flowmasters. See the pics in this thread. And no, it is not on steroids, life support maybe, but not steroids (yet).

I added those clips to another location because some people were getting a bandwidth overload. So now they should be at both locations.

Keep in mind the one is from inside the car and the other is 15 feet behind it and isn't revving really high.

I really hate Flowmasters but that setup sounds really good. Its kind of right on the border of being "too loud". I'd love to hear some 100mph drivebys and off-the-line sounds.

It's funny you should mention about the lack of mandrel bends. When the exhaust shop had it on the rack and I told him I wanted to take pics, they wondered why. When I told the guy I was going to post the pics he said someone would probably ask about the mandrel bends. The shop here in the booming metropolis of Waco, tx doesn't have the capability to do mandrel bends. And I do agree that for a daily driver, it is on the verge of being too loud. It wouldn't bother a lot of you guys, but it is my only car and I might need to search for solutions to make it quieter someday. It really does kind of 'rap' out pretty loud when you rev it up to 4-4.5k rpm. The I pipe is 3" which I had added with the flowmasters.... the stock one was 2.5 or 2.75" before and I figured now would be the best time to do it. Stock 305 TPI 134k miles. It seems like every couple of days something else goes out on it, so I'm scared to get anywhere near 100 MPH. Plus a guy I knew died the other night going 120 in a late model TA when he ran off the road about 1/4 mile from my house. Plus the fact that I had a blowout yesterday, so that might have to wait 'til I gain some confidence in the old Iroc. What's gonna go out next, I wonder?
