he posted pics of the car... does anyone know where I could find these pics... I've been thinking about doing that too....

I think the law is that it cant exit under the car. as long as it exits at the edge of the car or something its alright. so basically, dumping in front of the axles would be illegal, but dumping to the side in front of the axle wouldnt be. get my drift?

carndrvr sold his car, and I haven't seen him on the boards in a very long time though. Is it just select states that have the laws about the exhaust exiting from underneath the car. I know here in Georgia there are number of cars that dump the exhaust underneath.

here in WI, i believe that the exhaust outlet(s) must be able to be reached without putting an elbow underneath the car. Or phrased something like that. It's for emissions test purposes so that the idiots working at the test stations can't hurt themselves, otherwise, it's perfectly legal to exit bfore the axle, but i think that it must also be behind the drivers seat.

yeah i think the exaust has to exit after the passenger cabin. As for the fumes, man, you gotta love it! Thats the smell of power.

He is still on these boards once and a while. He has a vette now, but yeah ran the exuast out the side like you see in the pics and he used some type of resonators. Dont hold me to it, but i thought there were those bullet mufflers. Its like a round oval muffler.
