Factory Exhaust. What kind is this??

These exhaust came with the performance package on a 1986 Trans Am WS6 305 TPI. Does anybody know what kind of system this is? They are duals. Do they make them anymore (if they do where can i get them? I really like the sound of them (they are a little louder than most trans ams of that year). Im going to be putting in a 350 TPI with about 300 HP, with this exhaust system handle it or will it sound way different. I dont know much about exhaust! lol

Thanks!

Thats the single cat stock exuast. Single in , dual out. I'd recommend getting a good cat back like hooker or flowmaster. They are normally 3 inch exuast which is plenty for up to 400 horse. You think your exuast sounds good now wait til you get a good cat back.

I agree, that doesn't look like anything other than stock. Your best bet would be to uprade to a performance cat back.
1. looks better
2. sounds much better
3. give you more performance
Now the choice is up to you.

Good luck.

Yeah that's the stock exhaust; I have the same one. Sounds great with headers actually.

For cat-bakcs I'd look into Edelbrock too.
