Well I just ordered a MAC true fit system for my 86 305. Does anyone have any installation tips that may save me some time? Will everything bolt up pretty easily? Will I need shorty plugs? Does the y pipe match up pretty good? And the big question...how do they perform? Well I guess time will tell on that one.

 

Where did you order them from? I tried going though Speed, Inc who orders them drop-ship from their West Coast factory. I waited 2 months, and after being flat out lied to, twice, I canceled. Hopefully the place you got them from has them in stock.

 

I ordered them from http://www.ftforce.com/ . They were almost $425 shipped. I thought that was pretty good for shipping to Hawaii. I tend to get screwed on shipping here. I don't understand it either, I ship stuff to the mainland all of the time and I don't feel that shipping is that bad. I can't wait to move back to TX in the next couple of months.....Summit will appreciate my move also....Land of free shipping! Yeah, they will be getting alot of business from me. Anyways, I've ordered stuff from these guys before and it got here rather quickly. Give'em a try.
