what were the original exhaust systems on a 305 350 tpi
were they all 2.5 inches from the manifolds to the 3 inch y pipe to the cat and 3 inch from the cat back . my 86 is exactly that thanks

The largest stock intermediate pipe I know of from reading this forum is 2-3/4" and I believe that was on the 350 TPI. The Y-pipe I'm not sure about, but I suspect it's not stock, either.

Actually, the 305 (to include the L69)/350 TPI had 2 1/4" manifold outlets. Note the difference between LG4 and L69 y-pipes. Oops.

Here's the pic. By the way, the stock intermediate pipe at 2 3/4" was larger than the after market I had on orginally.
