WELL I GOT MY HEADERS ON!!! But The air tubes on the headers do not line up with the oned on the car. I drove it over to the exhaust shop and they said I would either need a 90* bend so it would fit something fabbed up by them or order some kind of kit with different air tubes. Anyone ever had this problem??? He checked them out and said they were on fine. I gt the TEMS the one with headers and y pipe for $309 in Summit and Jegs.

 

If what you are saying is that the AIR tube on the header points up and the one on the car loops around the back of the engine then points to the front of the car this is the same issue I had. My edelbrock kit came with a rubber hose and a plastic connector. This is what I used to connect the edelbrock air tube to the stock rubber hose that did not reach the header. Just a hose extension.

 

That sounds like what the problem was. I want to a harware store and got a 4 inch pipe fitting with a 90* bend so the air tubes can connect the check valve would not reach the top of the header air tube. I think I have the problem solve and it only cost $4 so that isn't too bad.
