i am starting to hear a lot of backpressure from my exhaust when i up/downshift. it is really bad, too (it makes a loud popping noise, then lots of burbling). i have no idea why. my exhaust should be freeflowing enough to make it not as bad. can anyone help? thanks

im pretty sure that gurgling and popping comes hand and hand with flowmaster. just a characteristic of the system. it could also be magnified by not having a cat or a gutted one.

yeah, what he said.

i have an 80 series and when i'm coming down from RPMs it gurgles. thats normal.
and better yet it's louder and more precise now that i've taken the cat off.

listen to a 5th gen camaro when they shift they have a really nice gurlge.

How can you hear backpressure? Flows do have a crapple to them sometimes.

I'll be sure and do that, right after the Cubs win the World Series, OK?

I think we have a better chance of seeing a 5th gen F-body than we do seeing the Cubs win a World Series.

Maybe they should take up needle point.
