Looks 100 times better than the stock crinkled y-pipe. Yuck is that thing ugly. The true y looks nice.

You have to upload it to a site that will allow url linking, or you could zip the file and attach it.

I love the sound of the Hooker, but Lord do I dislike those tips. I think they would look nice with like a 45* angle cut on them.

....anyways, went from a 16.8 to a 16.18.....NICE!:hail:

Good stuff. I dropped from 16.4 to 16.182 with a 3" catco cat and the Flowmaster Force II system. Stock exhaust manifolds though, they were definatlly chokeing the exhaust.

Did ya take the sawzall to the stock y-pipe? There's no better feeling in the world... well except throwing your stock cam like a javalin

only a 16.1

My 87 camaro LG4 ran a 16.3 stock, with my Headman Headers, headman Ypipe and Flowmast Catback. I ran a 15.5

Right!!!

and didnt the Lg4 make more power than an L03 and have better exhaust to start with? Not only that but what about Gears/Posi/tires/weather/timing/miles on engine and a whole other host of variables.

Trust me I know the times themselves arent worth bragging about but the improvement is. and thats what its all about to me. That and posting it on the exhaust board, where it belongs, To help people.

thanks for your concerns

Dude i didnt mean to Tic you off. I think what you ran is great its a way big inprovement.

i have 2.73 no pos and 235 tires. The LG4 Makes less power than the LO3 and my car has 85000 on it.

I also dont have AC or any Emisons stuff on it eather so I guess that makes A big diffrances to.

LG4 V8 9.3:1 5.0 (305) 165@4400 245@2800
LO3 V8 9.3:1 5.0 (305) 170@4000 255@2400 TBI
