Got my hoooker installed today ;PPP

Just letting u guys know i just got my hooker cat back installed except this time i put on 22 inch stainless steel tips slant cut 3.5 inches( i think it looks a lot better than the regular tips) One thing i noticed is that it sounds a little quieter than when i had it on my 89 camaro rs. Maybe it has to break in still...

I don't mind the Hooker exhaust that much. They sound pretty sweet but I still love my Flowmaster I bet you are happy to have the new exhaust on though huh?

Are the tips longer than what was on the 89? Also the angle the the tips were and are now will affect the sound inside... i'm pretty sure its nice and lound outside the car. The more angled down towards the ground, the louder the sound inside the car.(this way the sound will bounce from between the ground and the bottom of the car)
If the tips are further out away from your muffler the sound will be less inside for sure. Hope that helps..
Take care
Fredel

Good hjob about the cat back. And forget about the flow sayers, I have heard them. OVER RATED!! They sound better with longer tail pipes.
