What should i get?

ive decided that doing some exhaust work on my T/A will give me some more power and a beefier sound while accelerating. im thinking about getting a higher flow muffler and a higher flow catalytic converter. emissions regulations in my county are kinda strict, so i cant go without the converter. i only want to spend maybe 250 for both combined (w/o installation). What shouold i get?

With that price range , you could get the Hooker cat-back 3" all the way, and a catco cat for about $290.
Sound clip in the sig. With a non hi flo cat.

Yeah $300 will get you a very nice system. Hooker all the way.

As for installation, that may drive the price up a little more, but it is definatly worth it.

If you want something that is going to be noticeable all the time and not just WOT, Id get the Flowmaster American Thunder cat back. I am very pleased with mine.

the hooker is only not noticeable on idle if you have a bone stock engine. add headers and a cam and no freakin cat (mark) and i guaruntee youll be noticed at idle, wot and where ever you go. people always ask what system i have, and nobody has ever heard anything like it. flowmaster is played out. IMO its for trucks and mustangs. mustangs sound sweet with flows. of course ive never heard a stang with hookers, hmm DAMN THAT WOULD BE SWEET.

Now that I added a cam, the idle has gotten a lot louder, can't wait till I add some decent heads.

Well flowmasters don't need alot of work like heads, cam, and gutted cat to sound good

* Just trying to defend the good ole flowmasters
