Square port heads and round port headers...what shape gasket port?

Square port heads and round port headers...what shape gasket port?
I need to get some new header gaskets, and I believe my heads have square ports, but my headers have round ports. I was going to get square port gaskets, but I had someone tell me that combination has a tendency to cause exhaust leaks. I think thats a load of crap, but I just want to be sure its just not me being ignorant. What should I get...square port?
