I'd go with Hooker.

Also, I'd go with the Hooker cat-back , that's just me.

I agree with the Hooker headers. If it is a 1968 Firebird I don't think he needs a cat back system. You can put a nice set of true duals on those cars.

Ya it has a TRUE DUAL EXHAUST but they are midas mufflers i think the car was kept 100% bone stock down to the sparkplug wires. I do have 20 years worth of recipts on the car so i can probly tell what kind of parts were replaced with what. But dual exhaust will be nice on that car with the right mufflers.

What is the difference between that and flowmasters? the american thunder 2 i want comes with the pipes from the header back 2 flowmaster 2 chamber mufflers and a H pipe. for 226.00 i think it was through jegs. I want this car to haul *** the speedo says 160 my goal is to hit that 160 mark and then pass it when i get the car perfectly safe with rollcage and all that.

I use a Dynomax Ultraflow 3" in and out on my 86 Iroc with a 406 in it. It is not real loud at an idle but when the power is on at 6K it sounds pretty nice.

I wish some place had a setup were you can go and listen to different exhausts on a car lets say a 350 and that would give you a good idea what you want. That would make my life soo much easier. Hell when you go buy a stero you listn to it and her how it soudns with different speakers why cant they do that with mufflers

Go with hooker, or edelbrock. Almost all the other brands out there will not fit our cars without modifications. Heddman is a good example.

Go to the following site and you will see your options for Hooker super comps.

http://www.holley.com/HiOctn/ProdLin...ESH/SCCar.html

It looks like 2207 or 2231 for the small block or 2205 or 2285 for a big block.
