Anyone with Heddman long tubes>>>

Sorry to make yet another post about this. I called summit about getting a set, and they say that they won;t work with a manual tranny.Assumably cause of clutch interferance. Can anyone verify or deny this? Maybe tell me it's an easy "dimple one tube" fix?

I too am interested in a set of 1-3/4" long tube headers for my '87 IROC with a 383. Is Hedman the only manufacturer for these type of headers? My '87 is a 5 speed as well. Any info would be appreciated.

No no - for 1-3/4" long tube headers you want Hooker Super Competition Full Length headers. They are expensive ... $379 from IRS - but, they are worth every penny. I'll be ordering these headers sometime today or tomorrow.

Gunning for NA 11's with the MiniRam II and Hooker LT Headers.

Well...I want 1 5/8". Hedmans are about the only ones within my price range that I'm aware of
