ANY1 WITH HOOKER SHORTY HEADER OR ANY SHORTY HEADER HELP WITH IN PLEASE

i just installed my new hooker shorty headers and i had accel 8.8 the yellow wires on my car they were the one for stock application. anyways i notice that they are not going to work due to the wires int he back are long straight boots. i ordered the accel 8.8 300+ race wire they are balck i know ugly color but what do u do?? do u guys know anyone that has run these yet? i havent had the chance to put them on yet and i want to make sure they are the right ones or that they will work..the boots are all 90's and the lable for them says for all chevy small block motors with headers wires under headers. so before i get my hopes up that these are going to work anyone that has used these let me know or ones simular. also hwo do wire looms go on do they bolt to the top head bolts that run down the middle of the head covers?

I've used them before with good results. The secret to plug wires and headers is to use a cut to length set. This way you can make them as long or short as you need. This is the only way to get wires that will really fit. Stock sets won't cut it. This way you can route them properly to avoid burning them. Also get 90 degree boots only-no straights or vari-bends.

I don't have the hooker shorties, but I have the heddmen ones. Not sure what specific part number my accel wires are, but i think they are a stock type replacement. I have strait boots on the front cylinders (1,2) and ninety degree boots on all the others. wait, now that i think about it, you wanted info on 8.8mm but mine are 8.0mm
