What the he11 is up with BORLA, yeah the exhaust is great but I order it and find out by borla tech line that you are supose to use some of you old system... Now this dern thing says cat back!!! but no you have to use the pipe after the cat to the muffler and cut it to length to put on the "CAT BACK SYSTEM"... well I would not have minded this at all if something somewhere informed me of this, nothing on borlas site or summits says anything of useing your old exhaust, and borla is named for "DIRECT FIT." Well I never had the old exhaust since I put in the engine. All the guy on the tech line said was "Oh, we have been meaning to change that." So I am just perterbed at borla right now. Sorry guys... just had to get it out.

well if you keep the system you can buy the 3" pipe you need from dynomax. Do a search, I have posted the numbers and last price on here before. Sorry to hear about your luck, at that price it should have everything you could ever need!!

Borla sells two systems for thirdgens. The first is a complete cat-back system and the other has only the muffler, lefthand pipes and tips. Sounds like you mistakenly ordered the second-type thinking you would get a complete cat-back system. If this is the case you need to do better investigation before you hit the "BUY" button. I bought the second-type system(muff, pipes and tips) over 2 years ago for $280 USD(+shipping).

I got my Flowmaster 3" mandrel for $209 shipped
$229 for system
-$80 for selling the 30 series muffler to a truck guy
+$60 for buying a 40 series race muffler

It sounds awesome, especially with my flanged cat/testpipe setup and 1&5/8" headers!

No offence but borla is way over priced. I could buy a whole fleet of my 40 series mufflers for $600.

RE-read this if you don't understand that there is a cat-back AND a rear section kit.

wow i stop looking at this post a long time ago... did not know you guys were going on it for a while.

p.s. I did get the cat back system and not the muffler and tail pipes. They just failed to advertise that you have to use like 1 foot of the original cat back pipe.
