Anyone had headers that lasted more that a few years

Depending on where you live and if it's your daily driver will matter with header life. In California I expect mine will last as long as the car will just about

Seriously though, or you could get the headers coated and not worry about rusting, there's nothing wrong with Hooker headers, better than a lot of other headers.

I am going to forward all of your posts to Hooker.... I am sure they will take you on as a paid sales rep, no questions asked.
Headers go bad when you have an exhaust leak and dont fix it, especially after they are already rusted. The leaking exhaust gas can eat away at the header.

Oh, I back the cat-back all the way, but haven't used their headers. I just don't get people bashing other headers besides SLP, if a search is done, you will find so many people dissatisfied with their SLPs.

one big problem is that some of the companies don't make the headers with flanges beefy enough to hold up really well.
rust is another issue.
