When I start seeing people with REALLY fast cars use something other than Flowmaster, I might listen to that stuff. In the meantime.....

FLOWMASTER.

Ok, here's a couple cars that I know that are running fast with Spintechs. 71 Nova in the 10's and a 68 Firebird running high 11's. They both got rid of their crapmaster systems in favor of Spintechs.

But still most prefer Flowmaster. For the sound and because they make good power.

They're still $hitty mufflers as far as I'm concerned. Everyone and their mom has them on their car. Sure you can hear them comming but you don't know if you're hearing some Chevy 4x4 with 44" tires lifted 12 inches or if it's a Camaro running around with pizza cutters up front with 315's in the back.

That's is probably one of the most stupid things I have heard in along time! So....what if everyone runs a Flowmaster ???? They are a very popular exhuast system.....that sound great and are pretty affordable.....that's why they are popular. You are completely crazy if you think they sound like a truck or something

He said that because every full size chevy in my state is running flowmasters for some reason. I had it on my single exhaust setup which i ditched for dual...anyways its sounded pretty decent but i wanted something loud and deep so im going with two 2 chamber flows on my dual exhaust setup should support plenty of HP....

Mark I was gonna go with hooker actually but their mufflers are HUGE and im gonna need all the ground clearance i can get.

flowmasters actually produce more backpressure, so on high hp motors, that isnt a good thing, but ****, everyday drivin and racing, i dont think it ****in makes a difference what muffler you have, i got aerochambers because everyone has flos and its gets old. but if u want ur car sounding like everyone elses, get flos

I got a Magnaflow. I like it. No nasty interior resonance. Really barks when you get on it, but otherwise it's not too obnoxious. Doesn't **** off the neighbors. Nice straight-through design. Lifetime warranty is sweet.

Maybe every stock motor'ed camaro will sound the same with flows. But with my mods and my american thunder exhaust, it has a totally different tone than any other camaro that i've heard with the same exhaust. So as you modify your motor, any exhuast you buy will change it's loudness and tone and become more unique.

I agree they don't sound the same. My buddy has the same exhaust on his 92 B4C and ours don't sound the same.

I'm also a big fan of the 80 series agressive interior tone.

Like I said before, they are popular for a reason........

I agree......100%....and EVILCARTMAN....I haven't really heard a "****ty" exhaust on any V8 3rd gen's around here.....flowmaster is a fantastic brand....it's not "****ty" at all....my exhaust sounds better then most 5.7 LT1's around here.....and I've had many compliments on it....
