OK, here goes. On my 89 L98 GTA, i have an exhaust from what appears to be an early v8 third-gen. It has the 2 1/2 pipe from the cat going into two little crossflow mufflers. Not this has to be killing my performance right? Anyway my question is...where can i find the correct 3" pipe that goes from the cat to the mufflers? I dont want to but a cat-back because i already have a flowmaster waiting to go on it. I just need the pipe. Dumb dealer wants $150! Any aftermarket places have 'em? By the way, i ran a 14.85 @ 93mph bone stock. You think a flowmaster w/ the correct pipe will help me any?

$150??????? F*** the dealer! I haven't forgotten how they wanted $21 for an airhorn to float bowl GASKET for my Q-Jet, at one time! Or $1003.00 for a new ECM Q-Jet! Six years ago! DAMN!

I would think that a local muffler shop would have some three inch pipe. As long as it doesn't require much bending, they could probably hook you up. I've noticed muffler shop pipe-benders aren't too good with pipe bigger than 2-1/4".

MAC makes an intermediate pipe in a three inch application. You just have to look around like in summit or jegs. You could try the MAC websight www.macperformance.com.
