Why do you want a more muffled exhaust?
I'm sure that robs some horsepower/torque, maybe not a whole lot but some... doesn't seem performance minded to me =\

It might be neat for somebody wanting to run long tubes with true duals and no cats or mufflers. I vote somebody tries it out...

I've wondered about putting them in the "uncapped" flange of my Warlocks for muffler-required classes. $46/ea inserts in $60/ea mufflers - makes a lot of sense, huh?
Only reason I'd consider it is that the Warlocks cost me 2 tenths when capped. About a third of my racing requires mufflers.
I've also thought about welding header flanges onto some bullets for the same purpose. I figure either one of them will be less restrictive than 2 tenths.
D Stroy, why do you say, "I'm sure that robs some horsepower/torque"? The product description specifically says "without robbing power or torque". Don't you believe what you read????

I use the three disk insert inside a set of Summit long tubes dumping right off the collectors. And believe it or not they really arent that loud but startup is just like running open headers but after the car warms up id compare them to a Flowmaster 40 Series maybe a little bit quieter. I personally feel it robs less horsepower than a cat-back exhaust but Im a little skeptical to the fact they state that it robs zero horsepower and torque.
