Want SLP 1 5/8...who do I purchase from?
Decided I want some 1 5/8 headers for my car. Think I want the SLP headers. Not real concerned about getting a great deal or anything, but would like to buy them from someone with good service. This means I would like to avoid directly dealing with SLP since I read that they are real a$$es.
Any suggestions? Anyone want to talk me into buying another brand? Maximum power I'm looking for out of this car is a little over 300 rwhp and hopefully 400 lb-ft torque.
Thanks

You could try summit, last I heard though, they discontinued them, but had very few left, maybe you might get lucky.
Z28 and biff,
So...are you saying nobody else sells SLP headers anymore (considering you read my entire post)? Are SLP headers that bad in quality control. I see on advertisements that some place called Excessive Motorsports sells them. I tried their website, but it didn't work. Anybody else?

If the headers are drop shipped from SLP, a middle man will most likely be the same price. More than one of our sponsors is an SLP dealer. Check out Thunder Racing, Hawk's, and Third Gen Resource.
Of the three, Third Gen Resource is the cheapest by $20. All others are exactly the same price as buying straight from SLP. Don't forget about shipping.
I have included some links below to help you out.

WEll, let's just say I found my heads I just bought for $300 cheaper than Summit, so there's always a good deal out there.

I was in no way endorsing Third Gen Resources. I have never dealt with them. My transactions with Thunder Racing have went well though.
