It all comes down to your sound preference. On a near stock motor, they will flow the same.
I like the Hooker aero chamber, something a bit different, sound clip in the sig. But you can't go wrong with flowmaster, I don't think.

Flowmaster sounds the best. On our cars, 350 and 305 I've heard Dynomax, magnaflow, flowmaster, and hooker. Flowmaster sounds the most aggressive EXPECIALLY WITH headers.

eh, its pretty much just your personal preference. id suggest listening to sound clips. theres plenty on this site, and some of the official sites have sound clips on them. id have to put my vote in for flowmaster though.

after hearing flowmaster catback vs hooker in person. (of course the engines were diffrent, so that could be part of it) i think the hookers are def. louder. the flows scream at WOT, i give them that, but the hookers just sound oohhhh so nice, i just wouldn't want the hookers because they are so loud on the freeway.

I have both Flows and Dynomax...
I have a 2 chamber on my 84', and right now a Super Turbo on my 91'.
I like both, but I just bought a ULTRA FLOW S.S. muffler for my 91', I'll let you guys know how it sounds.
The muffler I just bought is the best from a performance standpoint, Hands Down. It outflows Borla by about 150 cfm and it outflows Flowmaster 2.5 times over.
Got it New in the Box for $50! I love E-Bay!

american thunder flowmasters hands down is the greatest souning imho. they have great interior noice(not to loud but you can definetly notice it) and at wot it sounds unbelievable! but 2 each there own right, oh and by the way, the poll does speak the truth, take a look at how many flows has on the others hehe :lala:
Muffler choice
I have the american thunder system on my wifes 2000 ss...way to quiet..now thats just my opinion. I purchased my 92 z with a borla system installed and lets just say that the american thunder does not hold a candle to the sound the borla makes...but overall its just sound. Horsepower wise more than likely the same...dollar wise well...you are looking at comparing stainless to aluminum a touch more spendy...but overall boils down to what you like....goodluck in your choice..

Where are the RAVINS?? I am not sure I will even vote due to the fact that I don't like any of them up there. Flows only sound good if you have a good motor in front and a tail pipe longer than 16".

Most aggressive?! Flowmaster. Best flow?? Dynomax.
I would recommend the Edelbrock though, it sounds pretty good and unless your car is kinda heavily modded any of these muffler are pretty much the same in flow to them and none will stop you from running what you want.
