Exhaust exiting in front of rear wheels

I've decided I want my exhast to come out of 45 degree pipes just in front of the rear wheels. I just haven't decided how to do it.
1) Run headers, into dual cats, into 4" round mufflers, and out at a 45.
2) Run headers, into collectors mufflers, into dual cats, and out at a 45. (Not sure if the collector mufflers would work though)

One other remote option would be side pipes, but I'm not sure how that would look. I've thought about it on and off though.

I'm open to any other suggestions as long as it exits at 45 in fronts of rear wheels.

Spintech makes oval-shaped mufflers and piping, might help you with the ground clearance.

why do you want your exhaust exiting in front of your back wheels? do you drive a camaro or an old farm truck? either exit under the car, or out the back, side exit pipes will kill your ground clearance.

dude, what's the diff between exiting under the car and exiting to the sides before the rear wheels??? Ground clearance won't change if you have a non gfx car..

I think I can make the clearance work because my car hasn't been lowered, it's still at stock height. There won't be a lot of room, but enough. I'm also looking into the feasibility of side pipes. Anyone done them before? I think the side pipes might look good on a silver car.

ya know what will happen when that blue RS has to go over a speed bump,or go down a steep driveway. i have a cat back system on my car and it comes close to dragging over some speed bumps no matter how slow i go. you all can do whatever you want. but i know for sure that if u lived where i do, you would regret pipes that low everyday you left the garage. but that is my opinion. besides i think side exhaust looks cheap on a street car anyway, but that is another of my opinions

What's scary is that I was going to come over here and ask the same question.
I wonder what those pipes would look like on an T/A....because the ideas been floating around in my head for awhile now.
