removing cat

I want to remove my cat from my car and replace it with a straight pipe. I have done some research on this, so please don't tell me to do a search. I have a couple of questions though:

1. Do I have a O2 sensor on my cat? I have a 92 RS 5.0L TBI.
2. Second question is that i have heard a lot about the code 32. Will i get this? If so what can i do to fix it?
3. Is there any reason, besides emissions, that i should not remove the cat?

As far as I know...you shouldn't have an O2 sensor in your cat....my 91 Z28 doesn't....it had 2 cats...with no sensors located in either of them......I removed my cats because they were completely shot...and here in Indiana...we don't have like emission checks or anything....

I LIVE IN MD , AND YOU WILL NOT PASS EMISSIONS WITH OUT ONE. THEY DO CHECK TO SEE IF YOU HAVE THEM ON.

well since MD doesn't have emissions, except when you first get the car and inspect it so it can be tagged, I guess I don't have to worry about that.

Also, I do have a 02 sensor. However, I decided to just switch the cat to a high-flow after reading the sticky about this.

Thanks for all of the help

FYI, IT ONLY APPLIES TO METRO AREAS SUCH AS BALTIMORE. SO BY ME SAYING THAT MD DOES NOT HAVE REGULAR EMISSIONS, I MEAN THAT IN GENERAL, MD DOES NOT HAVE A STANDARD ANNUAL EMISSIONS TESTING, LIKE VA AND PA.

by the way, why are you always yelling in all of your posts???
