The curse of the v6

I love my car, so i shouldnt say curse, but my engine does hold me back. I've been told that with a v6, i'm limited in the exhausts i can get. I have a stock dual exhaust on now, but i'd like something that sounds a bit better and improves my performance. I've been told that Dynomax is good for v6's and i recently found some that exit in front of the rear axel. It would be awesome to get some of those, if they are what i'm thinking of. I've seen the camaro with the dual exits on each side and it looks great. Basically does anyone know if this exhaust works with a v6, and what kind of performance enhancements it may have? Thanks in advance.
P.S. Sorry for the childish questions. I'm unfortunately not a car guy. Just a camaro lover. I'm tring to learn though!!! lol. Thanks again.

The dynomax cat back from JC whitney is only 140 and it sounds really good. It had dual pipes out the back and one intermediate pipe from the cat. The muffler is really good too. I have had mine for a few years and not one rust problem.
