Holley Max Flows ->

Thought I would drop some pics.
Just picked them up today from Jegs, costing about 109 for both.
As for sound - we'll see. I purchased thease mainly for performance. As far as I can track down, they flow about 590 or so CFM, which is about 99% of free flow on the tester car.
Weight about 13 pounds each.

I've run them on a couple of cars, very mellow and clean sounding at idle and cruising speeds. When you are at WOT they sound pretty damn mean.

Just had a chance to fire it up this afternoon, and was surprise that the db were not that bad for such a free flowing exhaust.

Could this be the muffler to end all muffler ???

Anywho the setup I'm running is a dual 2.5" w/H bar.
The headers are hooker shorties 1 5/8.

The motor is pure business, no fancy computers just straight mad max.

...and yeap '86 IROC' very deep tone --- niceeee & 590+CFM to boot!!!

LOL, is it me, or that first pic on the muffler, looks like it could be 5'' shorter width wise

It must be some sort of optical illusion or something but on the first pic it looks like you can see right through it, but on the second one it appears that the in/out pipes are offset?

sorry about that, I just shot it at an angle so you could see through it.
