I've got the same setup on my 87Z, and it does sound sweet. Although mine doesn't backfire/pop a bit like his sounded like it did...

yeah its the 305 auto with the better cam (85). It was a cold start-up according to 85 t/a hence the excessive backfire. It goes away when warmed up.

Thanks Juno for posting that. All the other stuff is in my sig. And yes the poping is cause I did not let it fully warm up. The last rev was to 5500 RPM. I will post some track times if there any good this weekend...

One other thing the cat is intact...

You're going to have some competition soon me thinks Seems too quiet at idle for me, still sounds ok though Going to try and get a sound clip of mine tomorrow.
